Hey all, recently, every now and again, i will go to start her up, and u can hear the starter mota chuggin away, its tryin to turn over to start, but u hold the key twisted in the lock to keep it goin and it dont start. U try again, givin it rum gas and it starts but its tickin over V slowly , almost chuggin, then stalls. If im lucky and get it started u pump the accelerator and its strugglin to keep ticking over then it stalls. Wait 30 secs to a min then boof, it starts up right as rain? This doesnt happen all the time, say once every week, mainly when its pissed down with rain, but this is from it standing on the drive all night. Its never cut out on me whilst out and about, other than that its brill, all fluid levels are up so cant decide whats up? U guys got any ideas?? Its not that its major to me at the mo, but its just knowin its there u no? Any advice wudnt go a miss, Regards...

I always turn my ignition on, wait until the whirr has stopped (usually 'clicks') and then I turn it all the way. I havnt had any problems though, I have just always done this.

sometimes if ive parked on even ground for a few hours and its been cold, when I turn the key it turns over but struggles, it sounds like its losing power, a few revs and its ok.

As far as I know, you're meant to wait for the red EFI light to go out before you twist all the way. I know when I haven't done that, my cinq has displayed the same symptoms as that which you describe. I think it's the ickle fuel pump building up enough pressure for the injector... just a guess;)

I agree with Pete, sounds electrical, esp if prob happens when wet. Clean cap, leads and top of coil. You can also clean plug tops. If that works give it a coat of ignition sealer. I may be completely wrong, but it's an easy first try;)
