Technical 4 branch manifold advice

hello need a bit of advice i have just done the conversion to 1242 on me chinq
and now i want to sought the exhaust do i have to get a punto one because of the extra length in the block or buy a chinq one and mod it

As I understand it you have 3 options

1. Use the standard cinq exhaust and have a 15mm spacer plate made between manifold and downpipe
2. Buy a CSC cinq manifold and adapt as above
3. Buy a Supersprint Punto manifold and adapt the cat/exhaust to fit

When I was looking at 1242 for mine, option 2 looked best.

eint it a 10mm spacer? as block is 10mm bigger?

10mm will fit, but 15mm is ideal.

nice one i think i go with option 3 buying chinq one and adjusting the length on all four pipes will affect the manifold as it is probably tuned to that length

I would opt for the Punto manifold and adapt the cat fitment. You are right on the tuned length.
