Hi Guys,

Just been driving home and I noticed a weird noise coming from the off side rear of the car when I break semi hard. I can only describe it as something spinning and coming to a gradual stop, i know that must be the break pad as it goes to the disc but what do you guys think

i think you need to check your rear brake shoes. or have them checked. sounds like they are worn out. do it now rather than later so you dont wreck your drums.

I was reversing today and slightly knocked the left rear wheel where i think the sounds coming from would that have contributed to anything ?

Could be something as simple as something moved and now rubbing on the wheel, or could be the start of a wheel bearing heading west. As suggested above, whip the drum off and check before any more serious damage is done.
