have just yesterday taken the fiat badge off the back of my cinq, (keeping the cinquecento + sporting badges for now) and have lots of residue from that glue stuff, anyone got any ideas of how to remove it? (i used old credit card and hairdryer to remove badge, which wont remove the left over residue)

Cinquecento Sporting,
and yes it is indeed Broom Yellow \o/

I used white spirit on mine.

Yeah i used white spirit too, came off easy as pie. You may need to rewax though afterwards though as it can take off that layer too.

Misfiring? Usual cause is a dodgy coil, but try new plugs and leads first. Dodgy Map sensors can cause bad runing too, though.

i used TCUT and string to take mine off. A small amount of TCUT and put something around an ice scraper like an old duster or something. Do it gently tho, and push lightly over the surface. Then a really good polish on that area

Best one... I used Hairdrier and fishing line to remove the badges. Removed the residue using an alcoholic deodorant!!

Now she needs T-Cutting and a good clean!!

Took badges off back of mine today, went to Fiat and got the new fiat badge...rear, as in F/I/A/T and the newer ones are individual letters insteada a block, so gona take out the i and make F/A/T hehhheh, saw it in a car mag, made me chuckle. Ordered a new sportin badge too, £3.50 a piece inc vat which i didnt think was too bad. The old badges came off in one piece, used thinners to take the crap off and cum off easy as pie. Then light tcut and a polish and looks like there was nuffin ever there :) No badges on atm, just wonderin where i can place the F/A/T tastefully. I used a hairdryer and an old plastic card. Looks good imo :D

I'm thinking of just getting one of the newer rounf Fiat badges and putting that below the wiper- or on top of the tailgate lock, if I ever get it delocked!!

I would place F/A/T on the bonnet! On the bottom left corner near the latch, would look even better with the bonnet debadged of its square one
