I've browsed through some of the other threads on this topic, but there are tough to follow :p

I currently have the seicento arbath 14"s on the car

I'm looking for some 14" alloys 6" wide.

As PCD98 is quite rare (if anyone can recommend any sites I'd be very happy)

I am looking for some alloys with

100PCD with wobbly bolts and offset of 30mm (or is it 35mm and use spacers to push the wheels out so they don't scrub?

I don't understand the deal about different offsets on the front and rear of the car, can sombody clarify it for me :)

I'm looking at some of these

or these

I really want some in this sort of style I like the wolfrace street octanes but I don't want 15" alloys :(

well the pic of those are 5 stud wheels and the sei is only 4 stud. Do those come in 4 stud?

See my answer to Adrian thread about "what have I done" for some off-set information.

But as anside, you will find that as your car is an Abarth that the wheels are actually off-set 36mm (stamped on the wheel rim) and you shoudl have a stud and nut conversion with bigger spacers to correct the off-set, these make the wheels more valuable if selling as this means that with eth nut and stud conversion and spacers they can be fitted to any Cinq/Sei with out having to purchase spacers longer bolts/nuts etc

yup apparently so :) pics were just to give you an idea of what they look like.

thanks j333 evo jst read the other thread :)

IMO you are bonkers to want to get shot of the Abarths  :p

If you get rid of the abarths, sell me the spacers
As I said on the other post regarding off-sets you should have been given the spacers and stud conversion with the wheels, otherwise they are worth even less than I think they should be, as they are an integral part of the wheels, without them you would need to buy spacers etc so whatever they cost you subtract from what is perceived value of the wheels. So 2nd hand wheels at best 1/2 price if rubber is decent, wheels on there own, with some scuffs, standard going rate is £20-25 a wheel to take into account refurbishing them etc

Therefore if Martine does buy new wheels she will no doubt get nice new bolts with them and can then sell the Abarth wheels with the spacers and nut/bolt conversion making more appealing to prospective buyers.

Personally martine, I would go for different wheels as well cos there are many many nicer wheels out there to choose from to make your car stand out.

Luke i dont have any spacers etc on my cinq with those wheels? no rubbing etc? just the standard bolts? Confused

Imo Sei abarths are the best standardish cento wheels, when your selling give me a shout as my gf wants some for her cinq.

You will probably get no rubbing as the wheels are sitting further into the arches, you will have decreased the overall track of the car making it understeer more and therefore handle poorer. Plus they will not fill the arches as well as they should, so not look as good as they could do.

I thought everyone knew these wheels were different off-set, its stamped on the rim

Yeh i heard they had different offset but i had already put them on at the time, and fitted nicely, no rubbing etc, so thought that was ok, will have a search for spacers now though..

mine still fill the arches with the 185/50/14 tyres and on the standard 3mm spacers though  Thats why i didnt realise about the spacers, cos they fit fine and handle just as well, fill the same as the last alloys did. But for £50 for the set cant really complain, think i can get a full set of spacers for a tenner (y) Will see though when ive lowered it as to whether they're needed or not.

TBH the track is so narrow on a Cinq that an increase in track is welcome, a decrease a big no no, there was a reason Fiat fitted those 3mm spacers to the front and I believe it was to increase stability and improve the handling characteristics, by losing 6mm all round the car will be more unstable and understeer more. At present you are running an off-set of 33mm when it should be 27mm at the front, and 36mm rear when it should be 30mm that’s a fait bit of track to lose. It might not seem much but even the 3mm (6mm on axle) Fiat added was done for a purpose, if it was not needed they wouldn’t have bothered.

So at the front, the wheel centre line is 6mm further in than standard.
Running 185/50 tyres, which are 20mm wider than standard.
So, the outer edge of the tyres sits 4mm further out than a standard Cento, then?

I follow your logic, but you should always work on the wheels off set not the change in tyre size. I easily ran an offset of 16mm on my Cinq when I had the 14" Punto GT wheels 175/50 tyres (offset 46mm with 30mm spacers) on 35mm Eibach springs and had no issues whatsoever up front (front arches are always higher than rears to accommodate the wheels extending out of arch when cornering) and made it dig in so much better when cornering, mush less under steer, able to get power down much earlier, did catch on the rear tho not that badly, so I'm now toying with how to set my chassis up, I think i may run an offset of about 25mm up front and 32mm at rear (on a 6J wheel and 195/45 rubber) to make the perfect set up for high speed stability and cornering ability.

I'm sorry they have to go  I want something slightly different, a bit more euro style.

j333 evo whats the deal abot nut bolt stud conversion you mentioned int he other post? I haven't had the sei for long so still learning all the fiat quirks (y) are the bolts etc different on the abarth to the other sportings?

You'll have no trouble selling them on then :)

Hi, dunno if this is any help, but I have 6x14s on my seicento sporting (not abarth). They have a 35 offset and a 4x98 PCD, from Rochford Tyres (in Southend but postage was £25 with all tyres fitted and balanced, cost £345 all in with Falken 195/45/14s) I have then used 20mm spacers and have no rubbing at all and the wheels fill arches perfectly.
Take a look:

before I sell them I have to find some good replacements,
It's been a nightmare I have the money ready to spend but really hard finding some. In despair I even went into motorworld to see what they had and the guy there told me you couldn't put 14" on a seicento (n) he was a real muppet and treated me like crap. Even when I insisted that I already had them on as standard he went out to check :bang:

One garage even told me euro style wheels don't come in 14"s anymore :bang: I've found lots of wheels i like on dubmeister but they only start at 15"

So I need 4 studs with pcd of 100, wobbly bolts, so for offset should it be at least 30mm and then adjust it with spacers to the optimal set up?

Centolew - look awesome!! I like :)I really like
