Got my power flex bushes, and hope to have this finished over the weekend,
have started to remove the old ones and would like some advice.
i have removed the centre metal section, i then removed the inner rubber sleeve. then i had to cut another metal sleeve out, and was able to knock out the remaining rubber section.
there looks like another metal sleeve in there, when you look on sideways you can see a groove, the other side looks flanged, does this have to come out. when i size the new bushes against what came out there must be a couple of mill difference, and they are supposed to just slide in.

any ideas

sorted, had a search and found what i'm after. the outer metal sleeve does need to come out. bugger:bang:

Yup, and thats the really difficult bit. Take your time and they will come out.

i cut a slot in mine to release them. then just knocked them out with hammer and punch.
