Has anyone used this to any effect? It claims it hightens oil pressure at high temperature (ideal for a Cinq! ) and quietens noisy engines (was this stuff designed for Cinqs or what? )

Only £4 in Tesco of all places, is it worth a pop?

Makes your oil thicker, it's designed for old tired engines.

I've used an oil treatment before, an STP product, not sure off the name. Anyway, i didn't notice any difference at all, other than the engine takes slightly longer to reach 90c.

If you're not burning oil, don't use it as it'll make your oil the wrong grade. It's supposed to give a dead engine a little longer to live.

I'll not bother then.

I need a miracle cure to keep my engine quiet, I dont know if other Cinq's are as loud but I think mine sounds just genarally a bit noisy.

i dont think mines is that noisy.no service history but the 2 lady owners before seem to have looked after her cos the interiors minted at 55,000 well I hope so anyway LOL

Need to measure the clearances, and if they are out you need to remove and measure the shim, then replace it with the correct thickness one from Fiat. Bit of a mess on.
