bars leak :)

i fixed the leak now...i think

i used bars leak and did what it said to do on the label

no more snow coming out the vents :D , will check coolant level tomorrow, it cold now

how hot should the heater be, i set mine to max and although it gives out some heat it doesnt seem much :(

You followed the intructions? There's a first! :D

It should be as hot as your coolant. However the bars leak may have removed some of its efficiency, by partially blocking it. After all, that's how it works.

i didnt follow the instructions word for word :p

im  , it suppose to fix things not make them stop working

i also noticed that the car runs slightly hotter now, above 90, when it was leaking it would even get to 90 in traffic

It works by blocking small holes, such as those that your coolant is leaking out of. However it's inevitable that in the process it'll slightly block some other bits up. Maybe not much, but a little. That slight blocking of the radiator reduces its efficiency, so your radiator can't dissipate as much heat, and similarly the heater matrix can't dissipate as much.
As for your temperature going up, I would have thought it would stay the same, as the thermostat would regulate the amount of cooling the radiator does. Unless the thermostat is fully open usually, so the slightly higher temperature would be explained by the slightly reduced radiator efficiency.
