i no i must be annoying you people im sorry but i need help lol. right ive taken out the original speakers from my cinq, but i need to no what colour wires are positive and what are negative.


so the left hand side front speaker there are two wire one red and one white which is possitive n which is negative

the right hand side there is a purple wire and a pink wire, the same applies.

It doesnt really matter. Wire it up and see what sounds better.

If you want to know for sure, wire up the speaker, remove the wires from behind the HU, then connect a small AA battery between the wires. The speaker will 'pop' when its the right way around.

i cnt get the head unit off because the woman dat had it before me has still got the spanner thing to pull the headunit out so i was hopin someone that had recently swapped the speakers would remember

At a guess I would say the white and the pink are the negatives. Just a guess mind.

lol, i wna try n finish the job before 6 tonite because ive got work!! there must be some way of finding out

i never though about positive and negative when i did me speakers, i just shoved the wires on and it worked, maybe try it out if it doesnt work you did it wrong.

It won't damage the speakers if you get it wrong, but they could be out of phase which you will hear when you listen to your choones.
