I have been told that my nearside rear shocker needs replacing on my seicento sporting.(Knocking noise from that corner )
Can anyone recommend a dealer on the net where I can by a pair of standard shockers. I dont really want uprated ones as I am well happy with the setup/ride of my car since I fitted 30 mm lower springs.

I don't blame you, a week on and I am still not liking the seasickness :yuck: Don't know what delivery charges will be like online though as they may be quite heavy (well mine were anyway), is there a motor factors near you?

Sorry to conflict, but if you get standard shockers, you will probably suffer the same problem again in the future. The standard shockers are not designed to sit so compressed all the time so they fracture easily. Pairing them up with a pair of shockers designed for sitting that low will mean you get a longer life out of those parts.

could be the bushes goin tho.... didnt think shocks "knocked" when they are done.

i ran -60mm springs on standard shocks and the passengers side front lasted a mere 2 weeks, and that didnt knock, it just started leakin and lost all its shock absorbing properties!!!

Hey,

My standard shocks lasted 1 - 2 week on -55mm Springs and my shocks didnt klonk, I assumed they where klonking thats why I replaced them but it turns out the klonking was something quite different! Anyhow I fitted some Bilsteins they offer lowered options and standard shocks but they both are abit beefier than the standard ones and should last well with the lowering springs!

 I had my new Bilstein fitted for 3 days before I crashed my car but what I saw in 3 days of use they where awesum! www.fastfiat.com sell the Bilstein original replacement specification shocks for front and back for a great price, maybe try them?

Regards

Adam
