Hi guys im new to the website so a big hello to all.
I have a Seicento 1.1 MPI i believe on a 2002 plate I have an issue with my seicento it currently runs and ticks over fine . when you use accelerator in neutral is get to roughly around 3k Revs and the Management light comes on . release the throttle and it goes out,This does the same under load whilst driving and Kangaroos down the road . If i keep the revs low its fine.
If anyone has had this issue any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
I have changed both coils and had the ECU checked on advise from RAC but still the problem persists.

Have you checked the cambelt timing..?

These motors run 'acceptably' a few teeth out

Higher RPM can show the timing issue..

Common on the grande and current 500's

Hi i have recently had a new cambelt and water pump fitted. a month before this issue. I have checked the timing marks they made when fitting the cam belt and they all line up . also the RAC said the timing is spot on via his diagnostic machine.

Hi, did you manage to find out what the problem was? My dad has the same problem since it's been for its mot. Any suggestions?
