Hi Folks,

Recieved my new Power Blue bulbs from powerbulbs.com today and they are pretty cool but I have 1 question and 1 problem.

I'll start with the question first. The box I recieved included two H4 bulbs which fitted just fine. As well as my second set of H4 bulbs for free it also included a set of H3 bulbs rated 55w. What are these for? They are tiny and look almost side light sized but surely sidelights are a much small watttage? Anyone have any idea? They are OSRAM 64151ALL 55w - PK22's if that helps!

Now onto my problem! When I changed the passenger side bulb the headlight seemed loose. On closer inspection I found the whole unit was wobbling but on the INSIDE! I guess I can't repair this so I need a new lamp. Anyone got one they want to exchange for some cash?

They are sidelights with a nice blue tint if like the ones I got free as well....

Which bit of the light is broken?

I have a headlight with the galss missing if that helps...

Jamie they are quite small with a lead coming off with a spade connector. Sound right to you? I was going to whip a side light out and check but I didn't have the manual to hand and having one broken light already I didn't want to bust another one by not being 100% on the bulb removal procedure. I'll check when I get home tomorrow night.

As for the broken light it's the whole silver bowl inside the lamp. It's broken away from whatever it is fixed to and it's rattling around causeing the beam to go all over the place. Also the side light connector (THe white bit) is snapped in half so I can't even replace that one!

H3 bulbs are normally fitted to spot lights, or in my case the main beams of the integrale as it has twin headlamps.

there not side lights mate, the side lights are code 501.

youve been sent another set of headlight bulbs.

H3 is another different variety of headlight bulb, like the H4 in the centos, i think the new corsa takes h3's they are like a "secondary" headlight, if that makes any sence.

Ah soz can't help on the headlight casing then...

The bulb sounds different to what I got will get a pic of them in a min as they are in my car not fitted

I've found a @new@ headlight on eBay but it's 75 quid including postage so I've mailed all the guys on ebay who are breaking one. If anyone has one or knows of someone who might I'd be really grateful (So would the people coming towards me in the dark!)

I wouldn't have bothered cos you have your 2 sets of bulbs, side light bulbs are like £3 those bulbs you got are more like £20, you could have sold them on at half price and made a few bucks from them.

H3s also fit Abarth Cinq spotlights.

Well on closer inspection of my order I also made a balls up! I meant to order the power Blue ones but didn't and ordered the stabdard Powerplus ones by mistake.

I'm just gonna bung it all back in a box and return them having just ordered the bulbs myself and Shipley actually wanted! Serves me right for ordering them at 9:00 on a monday morning when I'm still half asleep!
