alloy wheel nut torque

sorry for all of the questions, but I'm going to take my wheels off this weekend to give them a good clean behind. Anyone know the torque setting to tighten the wheel nuts back up? Cheers.

Hi..again

The Cinq uses VERY well established FIAT tech

A FIRE motor (cinq.sei.panda.punto..)

4x98wheel centres (127.cinq.sei.panda.punto)

SEARCH on here is great..

Put in the search term..'torque figure'.. or wheel bolt..

Then select if whole forum or cinq-sei section

Search

Easy as.. and you can ask at anytime to find the answer

FYI: ALLOYS USE A HIGHER FIGURE THAN STEELS

Re: alloy wheel nut torque

Tighten them with the spanner from the Fiat toolkit. Never use anything longer, then you'll be able to get them off again. There is no recommendation to carry a torque wrench for changing wheels on the road, or any figure in the handbook, so the tools supplied are adequate.

Re: alloy wheel nut torque

Yeah ..I don't often get a puncture ...but when I do I like to be able to undo the wheel nuts without almost giving myself hernia ...or carrying a length of scaff tube in the boot .....
