Really? How?

duplex systems can restrict power..i dont know the exact reasons myself but it was something aaron was explaining to me at gaydon.

unless they are especially made for the car like the 350z or s2000.

It'll be no different to a single box system, the one on Alex's car is a single pipe for most of it's length, so the gas speed will still be fine for performance. Had it been a 4" bore front to back, or duplex from manifold, might be a different story.

as far as im aware  it looks like it would, and pretty sure (like 99%) bushboy had a sei exhaust on his old cinq (the black one lol)

i thought they took different routes, or am i comparing 899 to sporting

please someone say it will fit :D

Gaz, I have the Bilstein Streetline kit on the Orange CInq - take a look at the most recent pics in my gallery and you will see how low the back sits. I had hell getting the wheel offset right to stop it grinding in the back. The shocks are only slightly better than OE and am sorry I didn't go the extra few quid for FK, KW or Spax - I didn't want Apex, Pi or Gmax after asking around and hearing poor reports.

My 2cents on duplex exhaust? Do you really want your car to look MORE like a wheelbarrow?

Wrong, a duplex system on a 4 cylinder car can and will restrict power, thats why Lancia dropped there trademark duplex system as fitted to the 8V & 16V integrale and replaced it with a single exit system on the EVO model even tho engine is the same as the 16V car, it makes 10bhp more.

The only way a duplex works is on the likes of 6 or 8 cyclinder cars where the duplex actually comes from differant banks of the engine.

i don't know the whole reason behind it but its a fact.

They are only good for looks TBH as I still prefer the double exit of the 16V integrale, compared to my own EVO.

Aaron.
