Hiya, wonder if anyone can help?
Daughters Fiat Seicento Sporting 52plate car.
Windscreen Washer Pump has died.
As always I headed to the forum and used the really useful threads to track down where it was on the car and the best way to remove it.

Contacted a couple of local breakers and was told 'they are like rocking horse **** mate, good luck'.

So tried Breakersyard.com online who have come to the rescue in the past, nothing as yet.

So went to eBay where there seems to be loads of universal ones but none look like hers which is a two way so need front & back.

Question is, does anyone know of anywhere I can get a two way universal replacement, ideally cheap, suitable for a Seicento Sporting?

Let me know if you do.

Cheers

Thanks again

Bit of an update on windscreen washer pump gate....

Ordered new pump as per dac69er link, arrived this morning.

Fitted it tonight with the aid of my headlight torch.

Tried the front washers, worked well pumping washer fluid onto the windscreen, tried the back washers, seemed to pump for about 5secs with no fluid coming out of the rear window and then stopped.

Tried the front again, nothing, no pumping, tried the back, nothing.

Checked the fuse, all good.

Checked the connection to the pump, seemed ok, plenty of washer fluid.

Stuck my meter on the pump connection, no volts, nothing.

So brand new washer pump out of the box, worked for a few seconds and now i don't have any voltage getting to it.

Does anyone know if there are any other fuses involved other than the one in the main fuse block?

Or what could be the problem now?

Any help or advice would be a great help.

Cheers

due to the position, the connector can get really cruddy and when you try and measure the voltage at the plug, you get nothing. probably worth trying to clean it up and have another go.

if that doesnt appear to be the case, then check for any damaged cables. its also worth double checking you have power to the fuse. that should at least tell you which direction to focus your search.

Brilliant, thanks so much, will give those a try tonight after work, again with the aid of my head light torch.

Did wonder if the issue is with the switch on the column which i guess will be another can of worms :)

Thanks for the help so far, really appreciated.
