Hi

I have a basic fiat seicento 1.1 from 2000, for my daughter to learn driving. The fuel pump make an annoying noise.
my pump OEM - number is: 46518013
I want to replace it, and I want to buy a full unit **ESEN SKV Fuel Feed Unit Electric, Petrol Article number: 02SKV712**
but they don't give the working pressure. In the same site they also sell a pump only, also for my seicento **Fuel Pump ESEN SKV Petrol Article: 02SKV200**
with a operating pressure of 4 bars. May be is this the same pump in their pump assembly.
Now I don't know the right working pressure 1.2 - 1.5 ... 4.0 bars for my car.
I read that the operating pressure must be between 45 psi and 58 psi (4 bar) for most (DPI) direct port inject systems
And between 13 and 17 psi (1.2 - 1.5 bar) for throttle body injection (TBI).
-How to know wich type injection has my car.?
-Does matter this different working pressure.? Can you put a pump for a DPI in a TBI system?

I want just a standard pump for my daughter first car.

Thanks.

Engines Fiat Seicento

The Seicento was available with two engines: the old 899 cc Overhead valve 29 kW (39 hp) engine
used in early base S and SX models (which was removed from West European markets due to emissions
regulations), and the 1,108 cc FIRE 40 kW (54 hp) and used in the Sporting
version since launch). Both used **Single Point Injection or throttle body injection (TBI)**.

The latter was fitted universally with multi point fuel injection from 2001,
replacing the old 899 cc unit due to the tightening emission regulations.
There was also a version with an electric engine 30 kW (40 hp).

I found the above information in wikipedia I assume it is correct. My car is from 2000, that will said with Single Point Injection or Throttle Body Injection. Thus I have to buy a Fuel Feed Unit or Fuel Pump of 1.2 operating pressure. Case is closed.

I was about to confirm that the spi is 1.2 and mpi 3bar.
