Really struggling to decide. I'm feeling a dark colour but not sure if I want to just go black!?

What are people's opinions?

This is a topical question for me. The Abarth wheels were matt black on my Sei when I got it and intended to respray them this colour after I refurb them. What's making me rethink this colour is that I noticed the grey primer I'm using on other bits of the car looks really good against the yellow, so I am now thinking that this might also be a good choice. If you, or someone you know, is decent with Photoshop, they might be able to mock up a photo of your car with different colours to at least give some idea.

I agree with Jamie actually

if you look at the colour of FIAT Coupe LE wheels which are a grey-shade and quite tasty; it'll nail it for you! If you do a google search for those, you'll see what I mean.

Are those Lancia wheels Dac69er..??

they are indeed. got them silly cheap from an uno turbo owner. they are decent condition other than the corrosion on the polished face.

just need to paint them up and stick tires on.

Thanks for everyone's input. Went with dark grey in the end. Just need to work out the tire size I need to make it all work.

hey-

they look really great!!

Nice one!

Thanks. Not perfect, but not too bad for a rattle can job. Really happy with the colour.

Will order some tires, new centre caps and get the spacers sorted then I can finally fit the damn things!!!

Finally had a dry day to fit the wheels. Overall happy with them, i think they look pretty good. Will be interesting to see how the paintjob does over the winter!

I think there's a general rule of aesthetics with wheels and colours of cars.

If you have a dark coloured car, bright wheels look good, and if you have a bright coloured car; dark wheels work.
You've managed an interesting subtle twist with this shade.

It's often the case; that silver cars 'subtract' the wheels from their appearance; and that red cars subtract their rear light clusters from their appearance too.

Certain features, and body colours contextualise each other, depending on colour.
This is a great result.

They look amazing what size are they and what tyres do you have on it? :)

They are 14". I have 165 55 14 kumho hs51 tires.

Havnt driven the car since fitting the wheels as I had an oil leak :(
