Technical Brake lights sort of not working...sometimes

As the header suggests, my Cinq's brake lights are sort of working but then again sort of not...If you know what I mean

I was leaving work tonight and was just passing the main window and could see that when I braked the lights were'nt coming on. Luckily a bloke was just leaving and I asked him and he said no. I thought I'd risk being rear-ended on the way home (easy! ) and set off. Half way home I noticed that the lights were working in the reflection from someones number plate. When I got home, as I reversing onto the drive, I noticed that only the drivers side was working.

Also, in the past, only the drivers side has worked constantly, the passenger side one would only work after a bit of fiddling with the bulb (taking it out and putting it back in seemed to work...for a bit) and then it would only work for a bit before stopping again.

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this has happened? I dont fancy getting shafted up the arse and then for it to be my fault because the stupid brake lights are'nt working!

It seems with Cinq's, as soon as you have sorted one problem, something else comes along to pi$$ you off. Ah well...such is the nature of the beast.

try bending the conectors that Touch the bottom of the bulb a bit nearer to the bulb, or try new bulbs some have a bit more solder on than others,
In the mean time if someone hits you up the rear "the brake lights were working before he/she hit me officer"
