the plastic bit in the headlight that attaches to the headlight adjuster (pictured) has disintegrated.
if i buy a new headlight, does it come with this bit or is this part of the actual headlight adjuster?

In mine it’s part of the adjuster... I think I have Depo lights
Benn searching for the replacement adjuster kit but couldn’t find any
Let me know if you need I can check in Italy but probably second hand
 
My headlights comes with the adjuster... I cannot see how to take it out

Interesting. When I had a quick look online the adjuster is separate.

It should come with it, however the adjuster motor might not, and the adjuster motor can be stuck too.

I recently bought two new headlights for mine, and it came with all I needed except motors.
 
Mine doesn't have anything as flash as a motor, just the manual adjuster as pictured.

Do you have a link to the lights you bought?
 
Yes sir, I got these on autodoc, inexpensive and they came with the manual adjusters too.

They have a shop in the UK as well.

As far as I remember it got the full adjuster/ mechanisms
It’s new
