Does anyone know what size the Leds in the dashboard are as im looking to change mine. Ive found some 3mm ones does that sound alright size.

3mm will fit in the switches to the left of the wheel.where were you planning to put them?

There and behind the dials. Change the whole green look.

You'll struggle there. The bulbs are not coloured behind the dials like namy think. The green colour is due to the design of the dial faces and you'll need to replace the dial faces to change the colour!

Can you also changet the clock colour?

An what about the ones for windows and the heater controls they the same?

Would use the search but not as much fun

Don't say anything bout the Clock though

The clock colour is provided by a sheet of coloured transparency behind it. Replace that and youre rolling...

As for the heater controls...you need to scrape the backing colour off the part then put in some coloured transparency to make it work.

actually u dont tom... as long as u want blue, all u have to do is put blue led bulbs in the place of the original bulbs and the blue will shine bright enough to glow through the original backing on the dials... red however doesnt work. dunno y exactly.

blue + green = greeny blue.
red + green = brown. and looks rubbish!

my car should be back from the body shop on thursday afternoon, ill take a pic when it gets dark to show u, the dials, heater controls, clock, and window switches are blue, and all the push button switches (rear wiper, heated window etc.) are red... looks well

I used a blue LED for my clock and removed the green plastic that makes it green. It looked really crap and the light concentrated in one spot without a backing piece so made another one using the green plastic as a template on a plain piece of white paper.

Wen the ignition is not on the clock is just black and white and wen it on its light and dark blue does look good ill get a pic if ya wanna c it.

I got UV int light lol, Is funky at night wen ya get in, all ya white clothes glow. Altho not very good for lighting up the interior. Actually pretty crap lol

Sorry for resurrecting a thread from the dead but i want to change the interior bulb colour of the car to purple.

AFAIK purple LEDs should be easy enough to get but how do i change the clock face (yeah I know change the card in it but where do you get transparency paper?) does the clock have a white bulb and all that needs replacing is the card? as purple is close to blue i was hoping i could just change the bulb out rather than looking for transparency paper.

Same goes for the dials, can i change those to purple too?

Finally I want a UV light as the map light, so where can i get all the bulbs that i require? PURPLE LEDs, Purple clock/dial lights/ uv interior bulb.

ultraleds can do most bulbs.however purple led's(UV) dont throw out the greatest light

well i can only talk for led's as ive never used the bulbs

what about red, my stereo is red and if it was a BRIGHT red then it would look awesome- only the switches and clock etc im on about not dials, thinking blue lights on the dials
