Hi, new to the group and check other threads and couldn’t find any solutions. Recently got a 2002 Sporting which I use to own has come back round to me 10 years later in a sorry state. I plugged in the stereo with iso fixing heard some crackles, disconnected quickly then noticed the time clock reset itself, tried to put clock back to correct time.
After switching ignition off it rest itself again. Had the car for a week and no issues with the clock until now. I have tried disconnecting the battery to see if that will reset everything which is hasn’t. Still same issue.
Any suggestions please?

You have almost certainly blown the fuse in the battery live feed to the radio which will also keep the clock running with ignition off. Sorry I don't know the fuse number.

Thanks so much for your advice, that small little issue put me on a big downer on fixing this little car up. (Can carry on with other repairs now)
I have found it and you were correct. It also had the wrong fuse fitted to it.

Fuse location inside car to right of steering wheel underdash,
Fuse 15 which should have a 15amp fitted.
