Which parts are compatible with both the Cinquecento and Seicento Sportings?

For example, will a clutch that's advertised for the Seicento fit the Cinquecento?
And what about gearboxes, shock absorbers and other mechanical components?

1108 Sei and Cinq models share a lot.

Gearbox is the one uncommon, although its fairly random which one you get with each car.

Later Sei 1108's get Multi point injection which changes most of the fuel system but the lump in the middle is very similar.

Cheers

What exactly do you mean by "fairly random by each car"?

So if my gearbox malfunctions do I have to replace it with a gearbox from a Cinq Sporting? Are there any other gearboxes which are compatible?

Most Cinq Sportings are the dry box. The Sei Sportings seem to have the wet box more often than the dry.

But its not that simple. It seems to be dependant on what is available on a given day.

Ah ok, I see now.

I've noticed that their parts are expensive. I don't really need a gearbox right now, but mine is missing the "Cinquecento" and "Sporting" badges and the ones I have been able to find for sale online were hella expensive.

If badges are so expensive, I cannot imagine how hard it will be to source a gearbox being sold for a "reasonable" price.

Seicentos and Centos are available for buttons and most parts are very reasonable .In my experience they are among the cheapest cars to run.

Cinqs and Seis are available for buttons and in my experience having run several parts are very reasonable . I would say they are about the cheapest car you could run and easy to repair anything that might go wrong.
