Howdy all.

As an overview my car died as belt tensioner exploded and belt ate it's self. The crank was turned over a few times without the belt attached.

I've replaced clutch and belt at same time. Car starts and drives OK but is completely gutless, doesn't feel like clutch is slipping etc as it spins the tyres from a stand still then bogs down. After about 2.5k rpm the engine has no heart AT ALL. And struggles up hills.

I've got the camshaft pulley marks lined up perfect but their is no crankshaft pulley marks to reference from.. I don't get it, the flywheel tdc plate can be a mm out and that equates to 2 or so teeth on the belt.. what position should the crank be at? Tdc on #1 ? What marks can I use as the flywheel ones proved useless and can't find any good guide.

Cheers all!
