hi ppl i went to delock my boot on the cinq 2 day but didnt av much luk i took lock of and my handle in the car wudnt operate my boot so i had 2 put it all bk 2gether can any 1 help me on how 2 do it cheerz

Yeah.

Unless youre confident in your own ability, give it to a bodyshop. Odds are your cable may be disconnected, snapped or it may not be operating correctly!

Basically, you need to remove the catch from the inside using a 13mm socket, then pull out all the lock mechanism and remove the access handle using a 10mm socket.

You will notice that the boot is pressed outwards, that needs to come off. I filed that off so it was flat, although I was originally thinking of angle grinding it! Then I filled the back in with a bit of fibreglass and filled that over, smoothed and painted etc!

You'll need to rip out the whole locking mechanism, incl the motor ideally.

Oh, and the catch can be a bit tempramental when using the handle in the car if the catch isnt installed at the correct height...you'll need to play with that to make it work!
