Yeah.
Unless youre confident in your own ability, give it to a bodyshop. Odds are your cable may be disconnected, snapped or it may not be operating correctly!
Basically, you need to remove the catch from the inside using a 13mm socket, then pull out all the lock mechanism and remove the access handle using a 10mm socket.
You will notice that the boot is pressed outwards, that needs to come off. I filed that off so it was flat, although I was originally thinking of angle grinding it! Then I filled the back in with a bit of fibreglass and filled that over, smoothed and painted etc!
