Hi guys, asking on behalf of a friend who's just built a seic for autotesting, question is:-

What cheap mods can he do for more power, he's got the 1.1

could fit a P75 head. Not something I have done myself but know a few people who have, something to do to make the mpi inlet fit - it physically bolts on but something doesnt seal properly without some jiggery pokery - the actual exact thing will be somewhere on here if you have a search. Then you have bigger valve and better cam too.

Does it even need to be the stock engine for autotesting he intends to enter? Cause if not the best option really is an engine swap without doubt in terms of bang for buck invested.

Some decent front tyres, ARB's and decent suspension to control the roll around the tight corners and a handbrake that works!!!

That'll make the most difference in an autotest

He's going to put a 2.9 V6 in it apparently.....

The 2.9 is for another mates rally car,

The Cinq is for a lad that's done autocross but got annoyed with the cliques that you get, all because he was in a different club
