Hi Guys.

We have a year 2000 model of a seicento Sporting 1.1, and trying to buy a clutch cable to do a replacement, yet all sellers note that there are two options for our car.
Is anyone able to tell us which one would be the correct one without me having to try to get the other one off first?
I'm getting options of a 712 length and a 540 length.

Thanks in advance!

Hi again,
On the desktop version off this forum near the top of front page is a blue line with different links on it.
Click on eper it's the Fiat electronic parts catalogue.
Find your way to your model.
Try and find your way to clutch cables.
Just have a play with it really it you can't do anything wrong with it.

The most sensible option is to learn how to do the job is remove the cable you have first, if insure of remembering how stuff goes back together take plenty of pictures.

For a hard copy manual see if Haynes do one.

If you can design and fit a kitchen you can do this.

Oh meant to say , when you take cable out yourself you will then know which one out of two options to buy.
It takes a while to find your way around eper and will take several tries , don't get discouraged.
Any prices that come up on eper are many years out of date so just ignore pricing.

When looking for parts on eBay I have found it is often worth just entering the fiat part number , occasionally a bargain pops up.

hi there YOU WILL NEED THE 712 length as the 540 is for the 899cc engine :slayer:

Hey peeps.

Thanks to this forum, and all of your help and advice, we managed to do the clutch cable. Some parts were... more awkward than we thought - why the hell doesn't the document shelf come off without cutting?..
Took pics along the way, so from a leymans point of view, I'll post what we did. :)
