hello all,


when i bought my 1995 cinq. abarth sporting 1.1, the previous owner showed me how to open the boot with the central locking electric key fob, since this model does not have a key boot system, so the boot is like a belly with no navel:D

Anyway, one of those things, it seemed logical easy at the time, ive since tried, but now i really need to use that little boot space . . .

ive tried all sorts of clicks, combos with the key in ignition, with it out, etc etc . . .

does anyone know how to open the boot of this model?! :D:worship:

Inside the car, to your left when you're seated in the drivers position, it has a little leaver, if you pull it, it will open the boot whatever it's locked or not.
 
This is an aftermarket fitment, so goodness knows what the previous owner has done.

As suggested He should have left the cable operation even if he/she removed the boot lock external feature.

Of the cable is removed, looking at the lock from over the back seats you will see the lever the cable attached to. Its part of the keep assembly.

thanks im going to look for this lever, must be something easy, as the previous owner demonstrated this, I think it was the previous owner before that who did the modify, though, i was wondering if it was after market or some special edition feature . ..
 
It's an easy spot on thing to see, it's just there for it.

So anyway, with the car! it seems there is not a handle or lever for the boot, porta tras, it is strange, as the girl i got the car from showed me and it worked fine . . . some combination with the electric key buttons central trancado systema . . .

I will look for this handle but I think there is only one for the motor . . .
 
ola, I have the photo, i know it is a bit late! but problem at the moment I have is to upload the photo to the website, how is this done?
 
check behind the drivers dside rear quarter panel interior trim as this is where the cable should run through and see if its still fitted
 
LOL i have found out how to open the boot, muito facile! There is a lever to the left of the drivers seat on the floor, I just reach my hand down and pull this . . .
