Technical Seicento 1.4 16v conversion

Hi all currently looking into converting from 1.1 to 1.4 16v I've read through threads and noted that the 1.2 ecu was used, my question is why has'nt the 1.4 ecu been used so it's matched to the engine rather than running the engine restricted with the 1.2 system? More info on this would be very helpful thanks all

1.4 ECU will be from a new car OBD2, it will be hard to wire in.

where the 1.2 16v all you need to do is follow the wiring diagram and is much simpler
