a day before i go on holiday.... my nice alloy rad pisses coolant everywhere, turns out the mounts for the fan were bent and the fan rubbed away at the rad till it burst....

had a awesome holiday in cuba.

got back last thursday... sat night, reversing into the car park outside my flat, some guy comin the other way decides he wants to go in there as well and pulls across the back of me without indicating and we colide pic below is the result.



oh that doesnt look too bad i hear u cry, well it actually ripped the whole rear bumper clean off, buggerin all the mounts apart for the ones by the arches, so they are the only thing holdin the bumper on.... and to top it off, the only damamge on his hooooooge rover is a dent about the size of a finger on his arch.

so i am in desperate need of a starter red rear bumper, and some rear lights.

anyone?

time for smooth boot? Bumper mounts are cheap too, liam did a thread about them. Any massive damage to the rear 3/4 or just that tiny dent? Is the abarth apron damaged?

i got really lucky actually... abarth apron just scratched, only that tiny dent to the rear 3/4 as well.... could of been a lot worse.

i actually have a totally smooth boot lid, depends wat fiat say needs to be done when i go c them tomorrow... if i claim off his insurance ill get the boot lid, bumper, and rear apron resprayed while i am at it.

ian escaped shortly before i went on holiday... so if anyone sees a skinny guy with his hand cuffed behind his back and a gag ball in his mouth, do not approach him, he is dangerous and could start humpin your leg!!! you have been warned.

but you just missed out on my rear bumper from my Cinq went on eBay last night for only £10.50, near as mint as you coudl get and in the correct colour, I think someone on here bought it as well.

I didn't realise until yesterday that it was finishing as it was the front that was finishing today, I even got Emma to text him cos I didn't have my phone with me when I found out, but he didn't reply, so tried my best to tell him as well.

Its someone on this forum from Northampton who has won it, but I don't think they really need it to be red, maybe if there was another out there a deal could be struck.

no, no one admitted liability...

i dunno weather to go through insurance tho... especially if i can get the parts on the cheap, last thing i want is for them to turn around an say it was my fault an lose my no claims over somethin i could of afford to get fixed for not a lot of money.

and i have a 175 excess on my insurance anyway so even tho i am fully comp i would have to pay for it... and if i can get a red bumper and some rear lights on the cheap second hand, i can worry about the boot at another time, i could just about afford to get the smooth one i have sprayed up!!! so i dunno.

he is findin out how much it will cost to get his fixed, then is gettin back to me an we are goin from there.

yea, that would be perfect as i could just screw the abarth apron onto that!!!

ive pm'd duncan offerin him more than he paid for it, so hopefully i can get it to just post it onto me when he gets it, if the price is right of course!!!
