ok I know you can buy one, but I can easily weld one up myself. Should I just take a measurement from strut to strut and make the bar accordingly?
What size round bar do I need. and how thick do the base plates need to be?

will putting an adjuster in make it easier to fit?

easy to make if you can weld.adjuster just lets you torque it up a bit more.
with an sx an basic brace should suffice,if it copes on my turbo cinq im sure it will be fine on yours

so do i just measure between the turrets?

Measure the actual distance on your car, and leave it a bit shorter than that when you make it up. You can then tighten against the turrets holding them together.
