Hi,
I want to make sure all my earthing points under the bonnet are clean and working, as I want to eliminate this as a cause of intermittent rough running and the injecter light coming on.
The battery negative is bolted to the engine, near the alternator.
Otherwise, I just see two earthing points, one behind each headlamp.
The battery side one looks to go somewhere towards the battery tray.
The ECU side one has around 4 wires bundled together, which emanate from the wiring loom.
What I expected to find, from my online research is an earth strap connecting the gearbox to the inner wing. However I can't see anything like this.
It's an early, 1993 899 car. Should it have one?
Cheers.
