Well today I decided to replace the bulbs in the front fogs and when i took them off I found out the fog light casing had oxidized a lot more than I thought and has condensation in them
*****
Washed the fogs out and left them to dry then had a look to see if i could put a bit of silicon seal in and ended up pulling them apart lol :bang: i dont no my own strength (although it didn't take much)
***
As this is only a quick fix going to go and get some new ones on thursday from a fiat dealership as I cant find em on the internet (might be missing something) if anyone knows what type mine are please dont hesertate to tell me
so yea silicon sealed and ready to put back on
Got back in the car and tested them, no condensation and they actually work so its all good
I then checked the head lights, tried to adjust them and only one would move ...
ON TO JOB 2 !:slayer:
Popped the hood
and un-screwed the bolts holding it onto the chassis and pulled the headlight out only to find this thing wedged between the lamp and the casing:
Hummmm
pulled it out only to find it was barely holding the light in place (what have i brought) Then proceeded to pry the casing off and then i came to these little yellow pain in the a**se's
:
After A LOT of faffing, swearing and cutting my hand i went in for a bru as you do
and came back to my neighbors cat (i like to call pud) that came to tell me get a grip and get it done
to which I got back to it and after another 20 mins got it off ... ughhh
Pud the cat
When i finally got the dam thing off I tipped it up side down to get the water out (and sand ) and it started to rattle a lot, shuck it a bit and about 7 white plastic teeth fell out
When I actually gave it some thought i realized it could be the teeth that help adjust the light beam's height
so will need to order a new headlight casing and also want some Xenon super white h4 bulbs
for now i'm just going to clean them up, put it all back together and find a better way to hold the light in place for now
