Hi all....

Finally got myself a Cinq Sporting.....

Been after one since they first came out, and I had a Cento SX back in 1994 as my first car and it's taken me since then to get a Sporting!

Finding it great fun, and am not regretting it one bit. Got a 98 R in black with 50k.

Need to get a few bits for it, both front seat foam's and a turbo . Can anybody help with the seat foam?

Rear O/S brake seems to be binding... any ideas??

Fixed the brakes.

Was the litle arm for the handbrake. It was siezed.... not any more!

Welcome cheeky-cento another cento member in Suffolk Cavendish is quite near Sudbury so you may see a Yellow Sei with a Clubcento sticker with me in as I go to Boxford and Sudbury nearly twice a week

Bit more about me....

Had a 889 SX back in 1994, sold it. Went to Uni, moved back in with my parents.... Got a 55 S Punto, moved out.....

Got house, numerous VW's but now happy with my Scirocco, Bay Window Fire Engine, and my Cinq Sporting!!

PS. Anyone got a clue what the front bumper is on the Cinq? It's got fogs, and a non standard switch in the dash.

Ok, it's too dark.

The bumper has 2 round fogs, and black mesh in the bottom section.

It looks like the bumper is a little (5mm) wider than the arches, but I suppose it could have been fitted poorly.

I'll post a load more pics tomorrow.

On a different note, does any one know if VAD are still doing the high pressure kit, and is it worth it over the low pressure one?

VAD are only doing low boost kits now, stopped making hi boosts a few years ago now.

VAD only do the low boost kit now but i'd say its defo a abarth apron on the front

My mate has a 79' camper with original standard 1.6 engine
metallic orange paint
quad exhaust
vw alloys
lowered

will dig some pics of it for you if you are interested.

Id only buy a splitty tho, but rare in good condition, if they are in good nick they well dear.

do you go to bugjam near santa pod at all???

Bought it im May, it's a northern Italian voluntary fire service vehicle. Only had 9000 miles on it!

Love to see some pics. Hoping to go to bugjam next year, going to get an A frame for the Cinq so I can take that with me.

BTW, it is an arbarth front bumper. I had a look in the Fiat accessories catalouge today and confirmed it. Did they ever do an arbarth rear bumper? I couldn't find one, only side skirts and the front bumper.

Could always get a beaten up, rusty one and in time fix it up, Can be the cheapest option but takes a long time.
