Just removed my blue bump strips from the sides of my doos to find there is a hole !

What have others used to fill this?

What model of Sei comes with the little bump stop, ie not the full stip just a d shaped small bit?

Any idea how much these cost from Fiat? once i know which model they came on i can call for a price, also what is the right name for them? door bump strips?

Cheers

Also there is still some sticky glue, what do you reccomend to take it off?

did you ask about bump stirps a few weeks back, i posted on a thread about there being holes

to take the stick glue of there is autoglym resin remover or i used scratch remover, it is slightly abrasive and gets it no time

the D shapes came on the mk2 i think (after 2001) , they where on the S versions if i remember correctly

i do not have a eper parts disk so cannot look up the part numbers :(

EDIT - how about covering the holes over with an abarth badge

No i didnt post a few weeks ago, i done a search but didnt really see anything useful for covering the holes...

I like the idea of the Abarth badges..think i would prefer to try to get the black door bump things though...

Hi
I`m not sure which bit you need exactly but i`ve checked on my eper and the only d shape trim bits i can find are on a seicento s
part numbers and descriptions are

46542103 Pad
46542102 Pad
or
46512315 Pad
46513948 Pad
Hope this helps

I used a carbon fibre effect wheel centre, its quite flexible so moulds to the contour of the door.

I just bought a small black pad that is made for the Seicento "S".
Your Fiat dealer/garage can help you :)

[to get rid of the glue use brake cleaner and a plastic spatula from halfords get as much off as possible then use t cut to clean the rest to fill the holes put masking tape over the holes and carefully cut the hole out and use body filler to fill to do it right ull have to remove the door panels if you dont want a botch job if you want to put them back on get car mastic from youre local halfords etc use this to replace them

Yup just get the two d shaped pads form the bump strips on a sei S model, thats what ive got.

To remove the glue the best thing is to heat up the area with a hair dryer and use Auto glym resin remover so rub it off and continue to heat it every so often, the black pad covers are about £4 each i think

Thanks:D
