Hi,
When I got my Punto 1242cc engine to replace my defunct Sporting engine, the guy had a complete Punto steering column and switches/ wheel. I've read that the gear on the Cinquecento Sporting is HORRIBLE...and it is! (it's broken, too!) SO, will this Punto column fit my Cinq, please? I was told that it's an ADJUSTABLE column, too. It is non air-bag. He also had another Punto column. Will ANY of them fit my Sporting?...The switch-gear is vastly superior! OR, should I try to source a Seicento column....which would cost a lot more than the £20 for the Punto!!??
Many thanks,
David

Id think it's totally different tbh...

I also doubt (although will stand corrected if so) that a Sei rack and column will fit the Cinq. Late Cinq Sportings (98/ R Reg) have the Sei switchgear, and airbag provision...so I may well be wrong

Thanks...so the Punto is definitely out! That leaves the Seicento to think about...I don't mind messing about with the wiring, so do you think that if I source a column (or just the switches) from a (non-sporting) Seicento, then there's a good chance that it will fit? How do you remove an Air-bag type of steering wheel from a column, though?
Thanks for your help....David
