Went to get the arches rolled this afternoon and ended up only needing the one done :D (saved my pocket £30)

apparently the axle may be just a tiddly bit over to one side more than the other when it was build therfore the other side seems to be ok, and its true cause i had never had any rubbing problems on the driver side rear arch with the lowering and 14's.

It was much simplar(sp?) than i thought and its well worth gettin done imo.

i could now fit 15's in really easy, and 16's would fit (correct width etc) if i got the other side rolled, which for another £30 is an option in the future.

just thought i'd share that cause i'm happy now, can take all my buddies in the car again :D

also enquired about a powerflow backbox which the place do, £160 (might not inc vat) for a choice of noise and tailpipe can't be bad, will save up a bit an maybe go 4 it.

I have made about 5 phone calls to body shops/ crash repairers and no luck. :(

What do I ask for? Some have never heard of 'arch rolling' and the last one said that the paint would crack :(

Any suggestions?

paint doesnt crack, plus you are rolling a bit of the painted bodywork that is never seen unless u lie down beside your wheel and look up into the arch with a flashlight!!!
plus if they dont do it or know what it is don't believe what they say.

I'm unsure of where in England does it m8, several cinq/sei owners have it done from your part of the world, i'm sure sum1 will come along and say where they got it done.

as far as i'm aware, if sumwhere does 'arch rolling' that u phone or email they will recognise the term and help you.

see this is where i got it done over here!! they call it arch rolling!!

this place does it, i have no idea where u live in england so may not be much use. search for car arch rolling in yahoo co.uk etc.

if they never heard of arch rolling, they most probs aint got the tool for the job

a place that does modified cars would have the best chance of being able to do it

I rolled my arches myself today. Acting on the advice of RobW it was dead easy. Start where the bumper meets the arch. Use a highish powered hairdryer to heat up part of the line that your gonna fold along. Then with a hammer and block of wood hit it. Start with a small fold first then go back over it bit by bit to increase the bend. Works superbly. I then covered the bit i had folded under in clear metal laquer to seal the paint work again.
