Hi People,

I have been thinking of buying Adjustable Suspension for my Cinq Sporting, I have been considering the Spax PSX Kit and the Koni Sport Suspension Kit, I know a few members have got these kits fitted. Other than price what would people recommend, I am currently running with 13inch alloys and a momo strut brace, but with a view to upgrade to 14inch alloys.

Thanks

David

I don't think you'll go wrong with either TBH.

the thing u have to watch out for is the spax springs, that say they drop 40mm, drop close to, if not more than 60mm for some unknown reason, they start off at 40mm, but settle an aweful lot and within a few months u got a 60mm maybe even more drop!!!

arc, ghost, and ian are all running spax 40mm springs and have a drop bigger than 60mm!!!

just a warning if u dont want to go really low!

SPAX are true adjustable, KONI are meant to be clicked up a notch after x miles to maintain the same level of damping

I know of 5 peeps with Cinqs running PSX and they are all very pleased.

If you don't want to go so low buy some APEX springs, howewever best to keep with matched set

I maybe one of them! Happy with mine, rears are even adjustable on car although the guidelines say otherwise. Just do it with a cold exhaust!

I'd get lower than 20mm springs though as mine are clonky on return due to the springs allowing more travel than the shock can give.

Good Point, DOH!!! Something in the back of my mind told me you had Eibach Springs. Have you ever had the spax springs that came with the kit on your cinq?

Thanks

David

No, bought shocks only, decided the roads round me were too uneven, holed, crap, insert word for rubbish here, for springs that low although I wouldn't mind trying a set to see.

That what I am trying to decide on, whether to go with springs that are supplied with the shocks are buy some separate. Brian and I were talking about it and he said that the springs supplied with the shocks are more like to be suited together as the manufacturer have designed them that way. I am just thinking through different options.
