Technical punto 75 cams

Manged to get a set of punto 75 cams (for my 1242) with the valve shims aswel.
Was thinking about fitting them but im worried about doing the timing, ive been told by some people i will need to set the timing up, other places say i dont need to and just a case of swapping them for the old ones
what soruce is correct?

last post i saw said you should check the clearences but it SHOULD be okay

Cam timing you set up as a cinqy 1108, may as well do new belt and tensioner while you're there.

Where did you get the cam, btw?

you after a 75 cam pete? can raid local scrappy if so, has done fair bit of miles but they wanted £75 for the whole engine let alone just the cams, so could probably get you one pretty cheap?

i got it from local scrappies
nabbed a punto 75 throttle body while i was there and the whole head, not bad for 40 notes
