I'm new to this cinquecento thing, and had to sort out the road noise first, I could hardly hear the radio!!
 
now thats a bad thing to do... you won´t be able to hear anything now... the cv joints, the rear bearings, the worn bushes, the alternator screaching, the pump priming, the fan going on... :)) leaving the jokes aside, great job ;)
 
It's dynamat extreme, a self adhesive layer. Amazing stuff, I can now hold a normal conversation at 70mph, in fact it's now quieter than my Jag XJR. Also did the roof, doors, rear quarters, bonnet and bulk head with it.
Under lay is just icing on the cake, takes away airborne noise.

just did the same thing and to my sei .in future except save a fortune by using roof flashing tape its way much cheaper than dynamat , .ive used this stuff for years in cars .i use a hot air gun to make sure its properly stuck down and then go over it with a seam roller or even use the back of a tablespoon. then you can use underlay for laminate flooring a whole roll will do 3 layers on an sei so to do the whole car cost 50 quid that included inside of the doors and rear inside panels .prices are based on a B&Q trade card but if your not got a trade card shop around .....it makes a big difference deadening an sei wether its for music reasons or just the racket in them on the motorway.
 
Actually weighed the total addition. worked out to 12.5kg.The beauty of dynamat rather than roof flashing, in my own experience of course, is the benefit over weight ratio. You're right though it is expensive. Trade price from the US helps a lot.
That included all the doors, roof, rear quarters, bonnet (with additional dynaliner) and bulk head. Also the underlay is highly effective and adds only about 2kgs, and is much more reasonable.
The dynamat was cut in around the access panel for the fuel pump and all fixtures and fittings are accessible as original. Like a lot of you guys, by the looks of it, I am pretty retentive about these kind of things.
Carpet went in over the top and the whole thing looks as factory.
Never done this type of thing to this level of vehicle before, but it has proved fun and worthwhile.
Followed it all up with a audiophile sound system install. Total about 6 months work. All custom panels maximising the weight advantages of some high tech materials. Still looks factory.
 
That is the all up weight addition for the system, cables, speakers, enclosures, deadening and even the stinger battery upgrade (the difference that is, between it and the standard spec). Wanted to keep it under 10kg but the cinq comes with a rubbish battery from the factory, hardly any gubbins inside!!
I did indeed do the wheel arches, basically everything aside from the visible yellow has been done, and even then from the other side.
Watch out for titanium, really need to consider anti gall.

Subwoofer mould under the passenger seat. It was made out from a fibreglass kevlar mix to maximise the performance of the laminate. Single JL 10 woofer, runs pretty flat down to 15hz.
The enclosure actually pierces through the carpet and underlay and is a moulded to the dynamatted floor.
Did need quite a bit of power though to run it.
