I know its a long way down the list but I am currently having this same problem, is the only way to do it to buy a connector?

I have an Earth, Power and Memory ones on the cd player

Got a black and red/green strip and a purple one coming from the cinqu

not sure what you are asking.if you buy an iso connector then it plugs straight in,if not then you need to connect the wires. prefer using the connector for the sake of a tenner

I suppose, just everything seems to start cost at the same time

And it was a little messy, Ill neaten it out in case anyone else want a crack at my puzzle

I have (after wiring ups speakers) from my stereo a wire called power, a wire called memory and a wire called ground

I have from my cinqu A black wire, a Red wire with a thing green stripe on and a purple wire

What goes where?

Now don't take my word for it, someone from the ICE section can hopefully back me up here but BLACK=ground RED=power and green/purple is memory.

You're best bet is to take a look in the haynes wiring manual They will tell you exactly what wires are what. But its safe to say black will be ground....

In the end I bought the correct adaptor . . . still didnt work!

Fuse had gone, swapped that over and it works fine now!

Close look at adaptor and I was spot on first time I wired it. . . jst no fuse!
