Technical Headliner Removal

Cheers,

I need to remove my cinq's headliner to install a new roof antenna.
Just had a look in the workshop manual but still have a few questions :

1) Is it really necessary a clip tool to remove the plastic clips that hold the headliner ?

2) Is the headliner also glued to the car roof ?

3) Is it necessary to lift the windows rubber mouldings to free the headliner ?

I'm not sure about the clips or anything but when I fitted a new aerial to my Seicento all I did was removed the interior light and pulled the headlining down in the centre where it reaches the windscreen.

It was pretty awkward to do and you have to be careful not to damage/bend the headlining too much.

I can't remember unclipping anything. Use the old cable as a fish, don't use a halfords antenna -- the cable is too short, so you need to buy an extension! :bang:

i just took the Two sun visors off , the plastic "jesus" handel , and the black caps on the drivers side , and pull it down this gives you enough room to access it

I think I did mine through the interior light hole....but I haven't had a headcloth in the car for years.
