Hi put on some new OMP brake pads the other day, everything fitted well. i have now noticed some marks on my brake disc, looks like rust spots but they are not, think they are from the pads, never had them on the disc before, and now there on the disc :confused... could this be because the pads are new and need bedding in..

anyone had a single wiper done..? does it make the wipe better without the squeeking..?

Are your discs ok? Did you fit new pads cos the brakes were crap? Disc lifetime is only really one and a half sets of pads if that makes sense.

No idea on the wiper although mine don't squeak. What blades are you using?

hi mate, yes, the disc that i have are red dot and they were ok before i put on a new set of brake pads, but when i put the omp pads on and slowly bedded them in, i noticed some surface brown marks on them which i never had before... i just thought that the pads were new and needed to bed in and in due time they brown marks on the disc will dissapear...

yes my wipers a 6 months old and i always had problems with them, when they wipe the judder slightly... and they squeek... it does **** me off! lol

i just wondered if the single wiper convert will make the wipers more better wipe, with a single blade to wipe the screen... i wonder what they are like.. it would be good to get a comparasion..

Hmmm, only thing I can think of is you got something on the pad material liek copperslip and it's transferring to the disc. Probably not though, t'is strange.

If your using cheap blades then it won't help, Bosch are the daddies.

I think a single wiper would be good if you had an Uno arm, with this being straight you wouldn't get the wind lifting it at 80+mph.

yeah i have bosch blades, i just ajusted the arm, it wipes abit better now.

yes i will try the single wiper soon. just wanted to know from others that had it done, if its worth doing..
