Hi All
I have been a member of the forum for some time but this is my first post.
I have tried the search facility first.
I have a Cinq Sporting that I have had 5 years and love it! and have just bought a 2000 Sei Sporting as a non runner.
I have checked the cambelt pulley is turning. I tried it Tuesday and it wouldn't turn over at all. Sounded like a flat battery but when charged it, it still wouldn't turn over (even tried jump leads of another car) I took the plugs out and it turned it over and put them back.
The engine still sounds slow turning over and the fuel is pumping out the top of the throttle body and over the engine!
The oil and water both look fine. The fuel pump inbuilt filter was full of crud so I have cleaned this and refitted the pump.
Any ideas if this could be a throttle body problem (electrical) or how to check it.
I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks
