Thes is the first few stages of my bad boi bonnet

So enjoy!
will update soon
--------------------------------
The bonnet was removed and placed in a suitable environment (my shed!!!)

The i drew round the light cut outs on the bonnet to make the metal patchs, firstly on carbord (left) then in metal (right)

Then the cut plates were spot welded on the bonnet!

Underside

Then i got bord so i sat the bonnet on the car to see what it looks like!!
LOOKIN GOOOOOOOOOD!!!

The out came the filler to cover up the mess. after that i used 'primer filler' paint to show up where i have got to use more filler. The drivers side needs less filler than the passenger as it was gettin l8 and the filler dust got to me.

I also took off the fiat badge

here ar the final pics - all i have to do now is filler the last few bits, re-primer and paint

I think i have done quite a good job already!!!

should look good wen done

all i have to do is bore out the holes on the bracket to get the bonnet to sit lower so it dont smash the lites - then its done!!!

Adding filler to the gaps and sanding down!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.../Bad Boi Bonnet/badboybonnetmiddleend2002.jpg

I am now at the final stages of sandin and spraying
This is the time consuming bit, finding and fixing all te gaps, scratchs and dents
But this is how the car looks so far with the bonnet on and in primer yellow!(bit darker than the cars yellow)

All thats left to do is a bit more sanding with wt and dry, bit more primer then the finishing coat and it will be done!

(bar the enderside that needs painting!!)

Lookin mean me finks!!!

looking really good.thought about spraying the bit under the bonnet(where the bonnet release comes through)black? seen some later ones have it and i think it would bring out your BB better

It was black from the factory - me thinks Dave painted it yellow when he modded the front bumper.

Nice work Dave. Your Cinq is looking good 8)

Quality handy work there, respect for tackling it yourself.

Also good idea using the yellow primer for ease of painting the final quotes.

It was black untill - as surry pointed out - i modded it and mesh it, then i sprayed it yellow to blend it

i may do a photoshop to see what it looks like black!

thanks 4 the feedback
makes jobs like this worthwhile wen other appreciate hardwork

dude if u got a spare go 4 it!!

is so worth it!!

and aslong and u can weld(or get a bit of welding done)
filler
sand
and spray

ure sorted!!

(oand mod the hinge holes!!)

Might just do it ya know, i gotta get practicing, or even if i pay, cant be that much and i know a few guys who could just do the spot welding on.

Alrdy had a photo shop for ages sooo wanted it done but was jsut expensive for it is for a body shop to do it.

Edit* looking at that below i also agree ya should spray you grill bit black again, looks better imo.

cause i got one side down pretty good and couldnt get the ova side to look right, the light was shining off it differently so thought sod it and mirrored it, still works, ya wouldnt know apart from the background really.

Well firstly, I clocked the 2 ARIELS ! then.. the pattern on ya plates & then I thought something wasnt right !

But you still get a good idea of what it would look like !!! :p
