I personally dont know of any wide arch kit for the Sei, you make have to look towards Poland ?

I also run 7 x 15 on my cinq, luckily i can flare my arches meself.......

use the forum uploader , dont use photo bucket m this thead will be locked by @custard soon

No it won't, that rule only applies in Member's Motors, though the forum uploader is preferred to prevent holes appearing in threads over time.

Pretty sure there are no off-the-shelf kits available, as CP says, either Poland or custom made.

LOL. I run a 1.2 16v in mine with a 6 speed box ....... does that make it slow with the 15" rims.......... i also know of someone running 16" rims on his Sei, i wouldnt of called his slow either.....

Next time you're at the drag strip................. ;)

Obviously, by putting on bigger wheels and not reducing the tyre profile you're raising the gearing. With a following gale you might even be faster than a car in the same state of tune running standard gearing. But acceleration will suffer.

In your case, the chances are that fitting the 6 speed box has lowered the gearing anyway.

Slow is relative. The drag strip is absolute. Go prove it.

Funnily enough i don't live that far from Santa Pod........... and yes Ive driven the strip, mostly in V8's and Turbo'd vehicles.

Besides, i prefer Street racing anyhow, either a standing start or a 3,2,1 rolling countdown, Ive been doing it for over 25 years, cars and bikes.

( and yes i know its dumb, blah blah.......... )

i ran 15x6j on a 1242 8v and it was really slow compared to a stock sporting on 13s, its on GT wheels now as most of you know...
Steve yours may not be slow but stick it on some light 14s or 13s and go for a spin and then tell me it makes no difference... To me anything over 14" is form over function, it may work fine but they would drive so much better on 14s and for me, its function before form any day of the week. Perhaps on a track some 15s would work well, but i don't ever really do track days or the like myself.

Anyway, back to the original question, no - i don't know of anything off the shelf either so custom jobby if you want wide arches.

noticed a tiny bit of speed loss but why better on the braking side currently on 195 45 15 .really needs the pcd done aiming for around 215 40 15

Maybe its all about the look ?

I do agree with one thing though, too wide tyres on a car can totally destroy handling and general driving, especially on the front.

It all depends on what youre after.

new p.c.d spacers came today and fitted them . feels so much better on the road.

just wondering what novitec springs are like i believe there the 30mm lower brought they ages ago ,and was thinking about fitting them or maybe coil overs instead
