Can anyone give me some info on the part ? What are the benefits ? Difference ? Is it a real plus upgrade or not really (knowing that my engine is well tuned already) ?

In short less weight for the engine to spin so quicker acceleration. In effect every kg removed from the fly is 100kg from the car if that makes sense.

The flywheel helps sort imbalances in the engine also it holds energy so afterward you may find hills trickier around town harder

I absolutely loved mine mine went down to 4kg and then was balanced with the crank,clutch etc. car absolutely flew with it on did make a heck of a difference was a lot harder to drive afterwards but it's a second car used every so often wouldn't recommend doing it to the extreme on a normal road going car but its a worthwhile mod particularly if your doing the clutch anyway

At that price, I'd not consider it.

Firstly, it's the OE cast one machined down. You've no way of telling whether it's been done correctly -- if it hasn't, there's some risk of it exploding and doing an incredible amount of damage. The truly good ones are machined from a high quality steel and they're only about twice that price.

Secondly, if you want a mabined down stock one, PM member Brooky -- he does them for a lot less and none of them have gone bang yet.

Thirdly, look at that guy's other items. Impressed?
