Hi, I need to replace my front "flexi" exhaust on my 2002 seicento 1.1. I've trawled fleabay, but come across numerous lengths. Does anybody know what would be the correct one for mine? Or why so many different ones available? Thanks
The MPI engines (which you most likely have) don't have a flexi section like the SPI's do, assuming your cat is part of your manifold. The mani-cat attaches directly the front silencer with what looks like a flexible joint.
There's definately a flexy section in there (I had to replace one). But difficult to make out on that pic (which seems to be a composite of SPI and MPI).
I'm looking for one to replace mine on my 2002 sei. As cheaply as possible. I know the cat is part of the mani. This is just a bent length of tubing with a flexi part at one end. Shall get under and attempt to measure Tom on my day off.
Be careful before you buy as there are different diameter pipes that fit 2001/2002 models and the seller might not be aware of what fits?
I had problems with my 02 plate sporting which had the same one as a 2001 larger bore one fitted so check your diameters first.
