Hi, i'm looking for a new exhaust (back box)

i've seen a few on ebay - universal fitting - i've no idea how to fit and if it'll fit.

and i've looked on performance sites - but it's really expensive!

anyone have any suggestions or can point me to an exhaust end?

i'm really stuck?!?

I could be tempted to sell by backbox as I personally find it too noisy . You could come & listen if you like . It has twin tailpipes , side exit . I'll post a pic tomorrow

You don't say what type of exhaust it's for. Presuming it's not a standard one if you've been looking at performance sites.

I had back box replaced about a month ago and the price was only £35 fitted. You not got an exhaust fitting place near you?

It would help if you put a location in your profile then people might be able to help better.

it's a stock exhaust and the end of the tail pipe has rusted causing the silencer thing on the back to fall off.

i found this on ebay but it doesn't look like it'll fit as the stock exhaust curves out from the back box and points back straight.

it will be a centre exit

any have a idea how much the standard backbox and tip is for the sporting?

That's what mine did. As said above, it cost £35 for it fitted.

When you say stock exhaust, is it for an 899 or a Sporting?

no its a rough price from AN exhaust centre.. kwik fit, ATS, local garage, backstreet garage...

FIAT will definitely charge you a lot more.

how much is the backbox and tip tho?

The guy in the original post never said what car he had which is why I have been asking !!!! I paid £35 fitted for back box for an 899.

Why don't you ring round a few local places and get some prices !!!!!

I have a Janspeed or Powerflow Cat-Back exhaust for sale for Cinq Sporting if you are intrested?

i didn't say that - i am definately going to get that one on ebay if i don't find a replacement stock exhaust, or get a garage to sort it, in the next few days.
