Re: wiring diagrams

trying to wire in the sporting rev counter to my 899. having problems. i think its because mine is an immoboliser cinq. from what i can gather everyone else who's done it doesn't have an immoboliser and i do. tried with a set off a non-immoboliser and immoboliser cinq and no joy. so after a wiring diagram for the rev counter so i can figure out the problem.

Re: wiring diagrams

Hi,
Yeah, the immobiliser comes off the orange wire at the fuel pump relay, the sporting relay shows a diode that crosses the black/violet wire and orange wire, maybe this is needed to stop the immobiliser shorting out.

Thanks

Re: wiring diagrams

Hi,
You could try a fuel pump relay from a sporting cinq......???, it should be of the same external design and be available at a reasonable price from a breakers..

Thanks
