When I started a new job, I bought a Grande Punto because I was worried the increased miles would kill my beloved Nero. I was going to sell him, but the thought of some 18 year old wrapping him around a tree was too much. Subsequently he became my brother's Christmas gift as a motivator to learn to drive (late 20's and never did).

He takes his test soon, so we've been working on restoring him.

I want to say thanks to the FiatForum. It's been invaluable. There are so many threads that have come in handy along the way it's impossible to list them all. So far, the engine bay's been cleaned, we've refurbed the alloys and sorted the clutch, changed the gearknob and carried out a full service ALL from FiatForum recommendations so thanks again.

Nero's still not perfect, there's work to be done but with this place as a resource he'll get there.

He's on his way. Got to finish a few jobs here and there, buff out some scratches and tidy up some paint but they are cracking little cars. I truly miss it whenever I go for a blast in the country in my Grande.
